Horizontal lower-thirds
For all videos using lower-thirds, it is recommended to use the typeface The Sans (or Calibri as an alternative).
Lower-thirds should be placed on the left-hand side of the screen. The colour must be chosen to ensure high contrast with the background.
If the video includes subtitles, care must be taken to ensure that they do not overlap with the lower-thirds.
Subtitles may include a drop shadow to improve readability if necessary.
Vertical lower-thirds
