It is not permitted to place background panels from different ministries, administrations or services side by side.
In such cases, a neutral version titled "The Government of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg" can be requested from the Information and Press Service (SIP): arrierefond@sip.etat.lu
Each set of background panels consists of at least three panels:
- 2 panels with the lion from the Government logotype
- 1 panel with the name of the ministry, administration, or department
- The background can be extended with neutral panels as needed
The maximum size is seven panels. Regardless of the number, the order must always remain the same:
- The panels with the lion are placed on the left-hand side
- The name of the institution appears on the second-to-last panel on the right
- Exception: for a three-panel setup, the name appears on the far-right panel
