Subtitles

Horizontal subtitles

For all videos using subtitles, it is recommended to use the typeface The Sans (or Calibri as an alternative).

White is the preferred colour for subtitles. If the background is too light, the subtitle colour must be chosen to ensure strong contrast with the image.

A drop shadow may also be applied to improve readability.

Vertical subtitles
